Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens Review

This is a tough test for a lens this wide - contrast is hurt by lights reflecting from the sides of the target, but it provides good comparison data. There is a noticeable improvement in barrel distortion at the wide end - you will see that the top crop image details appear smaller in size compared the original 16-35 L. Sharpness is also improved at the wide end - especially in the corners - but not at the long end. I expected vignetting to be more-improved.

Canon has updated their Picture Style Special Site.
