Firmware Version 1.0.3 incorporates the following fixes and enhancements:
- Optimizes the timing of the camera's display of its internal camera temperature warning indicator.
- Fixes an issue that may interfere with the camera’s ability to focus properly when using AF (autofocus) in certain zoom ranges.

Sony Alpha 7 IV firmware update version 5.00 is available for download.
Firmware Version 5.00 incorporates the following fixes and enhancements:
- We have added support for the "write electronic signature" function on still images, which is used in authenticity camera solutions.
A license must be installed to use this service (fees apply).
The timing of providing licenses (fees apply) to customers other than certain media organizations has yet to be determined.
The service may not be available in some countries or regions. - Fixed an issue where switching the recording frame rate immediately after shooting resulted in audio and video being recorded at different speeds or the camera becoming unstable.
- Fixed an issue where the cursor would not move correctly when multiple identical items were registered in the function menu.
- Fixed an issue where some button operations were not accepted while recording video by pressing the MOVIE button in still image shooting mode.
- Improved operational stability.
Get the Sony Alpha 7 IV at B&H.
I like this bull's body position, angling slightly toward the camera with nice leg separation and the leading leg slightly bent, showing motion. By getting the camera down low, the included background was farther away, making it more blurred, and the eye gets a larger catchlight.
The prominently visible drop tine is a much-loved antler abnormality. Hopefully, this bull's main beams will be slightly longer this year — so the drop tine does not interfere with the beam tip at this angle. :)
