Canon EOS 5D III, 6D Coming Bundled with Adobe Lightroom 5 in European Market

Yesterday, we posted an article by Canon Professional Network entitled, "Inside Lightroom 5 (Part 1): Modules and Importing". In the article, the first paragraph noted:

"Adobe’s Photoshop Lightroom 5 photo editing software now comes bundled on a DVD with two of Canon’s EOS DSLR cameras: the EOS 6D and the EOS 5D Mark III."

We asked a Canon Europe representative if this promotion would be expanded to the US market, and the representative replied:

"...this is a region specific promotion, only in Europe, which we are running in conjunction with Adobe."

So it looks like the European market is getting Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 for free when they purchase a 5D Mark III or 6D DSLR. That's a great promotional deal. Unfortunately, US customers won't be receiving the same deal - but they can always get Lightroom 5 from Adorama. ;-)
