Canon LP-E6N Battery for Canon EOS R, 5Ds, 5Ds R, 5D IV/III/II, 7D II/7D, 6D II/6D, 90D/80D/70D/60D Review
The Canon LP-E6N Battery, introduced with the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, is a replacement for the Canon LP-E6 Battery. These batteries are forward and backward compatible with the "N" version having an additional 65 mAh of storage capacity (1865 mAh vs. 1800 mAh) to its advantage.
The Canon LP-E6N Battery is the power source for the Canon EOS R, Canon EOS 5D Mark IV / 5Ds / 5Ds R / 5D Mark III / 5D Mark II, Canon EOS 6D Mark II / 6D, Canon EOS 7D Mark II / 7D, and Canon EOS 90D / 80D / 70D / 60D DSLR cameras.
These are great little batteries with lots of power in a small, light package. Compatibility with a huge number of DSLR and mirrorless cameras and their battery grips makes them especially convenient.
I recommend always having at least one spare battery with you.
