Old Farm Disc

Your eye is drawn to the first bolt and area immediately around it on this old farm disc, right? That is what a shallow depth of field will do for you. Use this advantage to draw your viewer's eye to your subject.
 
Another takeaway from this picture is to always be on the lookout for repeating patterns. In this case, the repeating pattern is created by the individual discs and their supporting hardware.
