Eastern Chipmunk on a Rock

I love how far away wildlife can be photographed with the Canon RF 1200mm F8 L IS USM Lens. This chipmunk was not alarmed by my presence, despite the animal nearly filling the frame.

Another advantage of the long focal length's narrow angle of view is that even a small background subject can provide blurred subject framing. In this case, a rose bush added some color to the background.
