ZEISS OTUS on BMD PCC6k PRO

Used this lens with the new Blackmagic Design PCC6k Pro for a wide-angle full-width shot from a theater balcony of a symphony orchestra. ed included SIGMA 18-35, Zeiss Distagon ZE f2, and SIGMA 16mm f1.4 (MFT mount). This lens bests them all and it should at a price 4-5x its nearest competitor.

Perfection-at 28mm.

First Lensrentals is excellent. I depend on them for my business.

made distant landscape lines look exceptionally sharp. Milky Way shots were sharp into corners. No batwings anywhere at f1.4. The glitch? My eyes see landscape compositions at 21 or 24/25mm and 35mm. I haven't used 28mm before. I often found 28 just wasn't wide enough for grand scenics. But man, this thing was incredible. If they ever make an Otus 21, my 21 Distagon will be a distant memory-and it is crazy sharp. Read Less
