Product Photography with Nikon 45mm f/2.8D ED PC-E

I'm giving it 5 stars for overall experience with LensRentals (but maybe a 4 star for lens usefulness). lens wasn't as dramatic as I remembered. I'm mainly using it for product photography, objects being 6-12" in size. Years back I remember using it on a DX body and when shooting products at 45° being able to get a good amount of depth of field front to back. This time on an FX body, the results were not as dramatic. Sharp nonetheless, and better DOF than a normal lens... but it won't take place of Focus Stacking technique (which I was hoping it would).
