Stepping Autofocus Motor. The stepping motor provides fast, smooth, and nearly silent autofocus operation for stills and video alike. You also get full-time manual-focus override for precision adjustments.
Advanced Optics. This lens’s seven-group/eight-element optical design minimizes spherical aberrations and fringing to help produce soft, rounded bokeh while enhancing the three-dimensional appearance of your subject.
