Both new products feature a tailored design to perfectly fit Sony a7 and a9 camera models, helping to increase grip and stability for precise framing and extraordinary composition.

With a dedicated Sony a plate, the Traveler a brings Gitzo’s premium travel tripod to demanding photographers using Sony a cameras. The new black and silver finishing and new design match the modern aesthetic of Sony a cameras. The Traveler a is a compact, lightweight travel tripod in Gitzo’s distinctive high-quality design and materials. It weighs 3.15lbs/1.43kg, extends to 64.96in/165cm high and safely holds up to 22lbs/10kg of gear. The 180° leg-folding system, pioneered by Gitzo, allow the Traveler a’s legs to reverse-fold around its center column and head, folding down to 16.93in/43cm. The legs are made of Carbon eXact tubing for superior strength and stiffness in a slimmer size and feature the Traveler G-lock, a travel-size version of Gitzo’s G-lock, designed to ensure security and reduce size and weight. The specially designed compact rubber feet ensure perfect stability. The Traveler a features Gitzo’s most compact professional carbon fiber tripod head. This perfectly balanced, versatile head is engineered to provide the ultimate smoothness and precision of movement and secure locking with independent pan/tilt lock. The special edition Traveler a tripod features an ergonomic strap made of genuine Italian leather crafted to resemble carbon fiber.

Gitzo also introduces a pioneering L-bracket developed to enable effortless orientation of the a7R III & a9 from Sony.

At 2.7oz/77g, Gitzo’s L-Bracket a is the lightest of its kind on the market. It is made of a single solid aluminum piece, machined to become one with the most high-level professional mirrorless cameras on the market. The unique design offers four main attachment points for the camera strap connection, ensuring a secure coupling. The L-bracket a's upper side is designed to provide full and easy access to camera cabling, either for video shooting or indoor tethering. It also features dedicated housing for its hex key accessories. The Gitzo L-Bracket a makes switching from landscape to portrait orientation extremely easy, keeping the camera perfectly balanced.
