Canon Rebates Available Through Mid-March
Canon has extended its previous instant rebate programs with a few changes, listed below.
- EOS-1D X Mark II IR decreased from $500.00 to $300.00
- EOS 5D Mark II IR increased from $500.00 to $800.00
- EOS 6D IR increased from $400.00 to $700.00
- EOS 80D IR range increased from $100.00 - $600.00 to $200.00 - $700.00
- EOS Rebel T7i IRs expanded from $150.00 to $50.00 - $350.00
- EOS Rebel T6i IRs shrink from $100.00 - $400.00 to $100.00 - $150.00
- EOS Rebel SL2 IRs expanded from $150.00 to $50.00 - $200.00
- EF-S 10-18 f/4.5-5.6 IS STM now qualifies for a $20.00 IR
- EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM now qualifies for $50.00 IR
- EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM IR increased from $50.00 to $100.00
- EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM IR increased from $100.00 to $150.00
- EF 35mm f/2 IS USM now qualifies for a $50.00 IR
- EF 40mm f/2.8 STM now qualifies for a $20.00 IR
- EF 50mm f/1.4 USM now qualifies for a $70.00 IR
- EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM IR increased from $100.00 to $150.00
- EF 85mm f/1.8 USM now qualifies for a $70.00 IR
As you can see, most of the rebate changes were advantageous for consumers. The current rebate program is a relatively short one; it started March 4 and will run through March 17. Here are the full details:
