Canon Invited Hackers to Help Brainstorm Commercial Solutions
In an event that flew under our radar when it occurred, Canon hosted a hackathon this past December called "Code Canon" where it invited developers to compete to create commercial solutions for its product lineup.
The winners, MochoPhoto, developed a realtime photo marketplace enhanced with artificial intelligence.There's no word on whether or not this will become an ongoing annual or biennial event.
