MELVILLE, N.Y. – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce that Canon Inc., its parent company, has been named to the 2016 FORTUNE magazine World’s Most Admired Companies list as a member of the computers industry. Canon received high marks in innovation, social responsibility, global competitiveness and quality of products and services.

Executive, directors and analysts from approximately 652 companies in 30 countries around the world were asked to rate these companies based off of nine criteria categories: financial soundness, long-term investment value, people management, social responsibility, use of corporate assets, quality of management, quality of products/services, innovation and global competitiveness. In order to be listed, a company must have scored within the top half of its respective industry.
