Adorama Announces Flashpoint PolarLight LED Designed for 4K Recording

April 1, 2015 – After months of research Flashpoint has developed the first ever on and off camera LED light series especially designed for cinema cameras with 4K recording.
Our new lights have a polarizing filter which spreads the rays for optimal 4K capture by dispersing the light in a "slower" way and matching the sensitive sensors that 4K cameras have. Available as a standard LED light or with adjustable color temperature, and as an on-camera unit (300 diodes) or an off-camera panel (1350 diodes).
The on-camera unit features a universal battery design, silent vented cooling, and up to 3 hours battery life. The off-camera panel can use AC power or V-mount batteries, and is the brightest unit of its kind on the market, even with the polarizing filter.
