From Tamron:

Fast fixed focal SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045) boldly demonstrates Tamron’s lens-making expertise

June 6, 2019, Commack, NY— Tamron announces the launch of a new fixed focal lens, the SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045), for full-frame DSLR cameras. The lens, announced as under-development this February, will be available at Tamron USA authorized retailers at approximately $899 on June 26th in Nikon mount and July 25th in Canon mount.

Tamron’s SP (Superior Performance) lens series was born in 1979, based on the concept of delivering lenses for taking the perfect picture for those who love photography. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the series. In celebration, Tamron has developed the Model F045, the distillation of Tamron’s accumulated lens-making expertise and craftsmanship. This orthodox fixed focal lens, which some consider the most basic of all interchangeable lenses, is the embodiment of all optical technology and manufacturing knowhow Tamron has developed to date. The Model F045’s unprecedented high-resolution image quality and beautiful, appealing background bokeh lets photographers capture any scene down to the finest details. The external lens barrel was developed through the tireless pursuit of operability and durability, focusing constantly on the needs of photographers. This lens is equipped with a large F/1.4 aperture and high-speed, high-precision AF functionality offering exceptional reliability, plus various other features for increased convenience, making it the perfect everyday lens for your creative pursuits. It is ideally suited for nearly every photographic genre, including photojournalism, landscape, sports, street life, wedding groups and family snapshots.

Product Development Background

“To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Tamron’s renowned SP series lenses that are designed and constructed to deliver the highest levels of performance, we drew upon our accumulated expertise and technologies to create the ‘ultimate lens’ — the Model F045,” said the person responsible for product planning. “Our goal was to achieve high resolution, fidelity of point light source and beautiful bokeh,” he continued. “We deployed existing skills, like our highly regarded knowhow for producing bokeh, and combined them with new innovations like BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) Coating for anti-reflection performance. Today we announce with sincere pride that the Model F045 embodies Tamron’s philosophy for manufacturing and is the finest lens in Tamron’s history.”

PRODUCT HIGLIGHTS

1. Consummate image quality across the entire frame from edge-to-edge The optical construction (14 elements in 10 groups) leverages the best of Tamron technology and features a generous arrangement of special glass materials including four LD (Low Dispersion) and three GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements.
This combination of components successfully eliminates the effects of chromatic aberrations (which are particularly perilous for high-speed lenses) as well as other optical aberrations to the greatest extent possible. Even at its maximum aperture of F/1.4, high resolution performance is achieved from the center of the frame to the edges, providing superior aberration correction to maintain perfect fidelity of point shapes. The result is ultimate ultra-high image quality. This exceptional optical performance extends to the quality of defocused bokeh areas. With this lens, photographers can capture dramatic images that neatly sculpt their subjects against large and beautifully appealing background bokeh.

2. Next-generation BBAR-G2 Coating To maximize the optical performance and ultra-high image quality of this lens, special measures are in place for optimal correction against ghosting and flare.
Tamron has developed BBAR-G2 Coating through continued research into the coating technologies they have developed over many years. This new BBAR-G2 Coating vastly exceeds the performance of the original BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating that enjoys a long and well-established reputation in its own right. In addition to minimizing ghosting and flare, BBAR-G2 Coating enables clear images with stunning, unprecedented contrast.

3. Exceptionally reliable, fast and accurate AF
The AF drive is equipped with Tamron’s proprietary USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive). This technology affords an autofocusing system with high speed, precision and quiet operation—even in a large aperture lens, which is typically bigger and heavier. Additionally, thanks to the Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism that has been newly developed specifically for this lens, Tamron has succeeded in minimizing the drive load placed on the focus lens component. This breakthrough ensures stable AF operating performance and improves reliability even under the harsh shooting conditions of professional use, including high and low temperature extremes. This exceptional lens is also equipped with a Full-Time Manual Focus override system so photographers can instantly make fine adjustments to the point of focus, even when using the AF mode.

4. Vastly improved highly durable Fluorine Coating
The front surface of the lens element is coated with a Fluorine Coating based on a newly developed fluorine compound with high water- and oil-repellent properties. The lens surface is easier to wipe clean and is less vulnerable to the damaging effects of dirt, dust, moisture, and fingerprints, and enabling your important lenses to be continually protected on a long-term basis.

5. Moisture-Resistant Construction
Seals are located at the lens mount area and other critical locations to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain to provide Moisture-Resistant Construction. This feature affords an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.

6. Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in ConsoleTM, an optional accessory
The Model F045 is compatible with the TAMRON TAP-in Console, an optional accessory product that provides a USB connection to a personal computer, enabling users to easily update a lens’s firmware as well as customize features including fine adjustments to the AF.

7. Locking lens hood for precise positioning
The included lens hood is equipped with a locking mechanism. Being able to reliably attach the hood prevents it from unintentionally shifting position or coming off at the wrong time.

8. Consistent with Tamron’s sophisticated design concepts
The smoothly contoured body and the texture of fine details reinforce simple operation and ensure intuitive use. The shape boasts a high-grade feel worthy of a next-generation model that’s packed with advanced technologies. The form snugly houses the internal components, while the carefully finished Luminous Gold brand ring and painstakingly precise construction speak loudly of the extreme high quality of the lens. Combined with the ergonomic switch box shape, highly legible distance-scale window and sturdy metal mount, the lens boasts a finely-finished rugged and functional design.

In its latest marketing video, Tamron gives its new 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD the moniker, "The Portrait Zoom." And in focal length regards, there's certainly something to that. The lens contains many of the most popular prime focal lengths for shooting portraiture, including 35, 50, 85, 100/105 and 135mm (and all are conveniently marked on the zoom ring). We don't know what the precise max aperture step-down for this lens is yet, but it's safe to say that the Tamron 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD's max aperture will lag behind popular prime lenses anywhere from 1-3 stops at comparable focal lengths. That said, the Tamron 35-150's total focal length range, moderately-wide max aperture range and price point that's significantly less than a bag full of primes should make it an intriguing option for many [especially budget] photographers' portrait needs.

From Tamron:

April 25, 2019, Commack, NY - Tamron announces the launch of a new zoom lens, the 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD (Model A043), for full-frame DSLR cameras. Photographers everywhere, especially those who enjoy photographing people, can add wider range to their creative expression with the new Model A043 that extends from 35mm to 150mm and offers a fast F/2.8 aperture at the wide-angle end while maintaining a bright F/4 at the telephoto end. The lens will be available May 23 in Nikon mount and June 20 in Canon mount at approximately $799 at authorized Tamron USA retailers.

The zoom range incorporates the 85mm focal length (often regarded as optimum for portrait shooting) and covers everything from full-body shots that include the surrounding environment to head-and-shoulders shots that stand out from a natural defocused "bokeh" background for which Tamron is renowned. The compact Model A043 is designed for fast handling and easy transport, measuring only 4.9 in long and perfectly balanced. On the technical side, three optimally placed LD (Low Dispersion) glass elements and three hybrid aspherical lenses quash various optical aberrations. Autofocus is exceptionally quiet with improved precision and speed thanks to the OSD (Optimized Silent Drive) DC motor. Furthermore, the Model A043 incorporates the Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) system, which strikes the perfect balance between AF performance and effective vibration compensation. For close-focusing, the MOD (Minimum Object Distance) is 17.7 in across the entire zoom range. Providing greater flexibility when used outdoors, a Fluorine Coating and Moisture-Resistant Construction deliver extra measures of protection. The new 35-150mm portrait zoom is the most useful and most creative lens a portrait photographer can own.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Superb optical performance meets requirements of high-resolution 50+ megapixel DSLRs
Chromatic aberration and other imperfections that can diminish and degrade resolving power are thoroughly controlled by an optical design that combines three high-performance LD (Low Dispersion) glass elements with three hybrid aspherical lens elements aligned in perfect balance. The result provides the high levels of sharpness and contrast that today's high-resolution digital cameras require. Tamron's exclusive formula is optimized for exceptional performance around the mid-zoom 85mm range because that focal length has long been regarded as the preferred choice for portrait shooting. True to its designation as a "portrait zoom," the Model A043 leverages Tamron's optical technologies across the entire zoom range from wide-angle to telephoto to assure the finest experience at any setting. Making full use of the controlled depth-of-field properties only fast-aperture lenses can provide, Tamron employed proprietary simulation technologies to maximize the soft and natural "bokeh" defocused blur it has cultivated over many years. As a result, in-focus areas are rendered sharp and crisp down to the fine details that makes the subject stand out against a gently and beautifully blurred background. This technique is highly prized by portrait photographers and is potent for virtually every other type of photography.

Outstanding performance even in strongly backlit situations
Tamron's legendary BBAR (Broad-Brand Anti-Reflection) Coating works in harmony with an optical design that suppresses internal lens reflections to significantly reduce all traces of ghosting and flare. Because portraits are often shot under backlight conditions for impact, Tamron uses these advanced technologies to preserve high image quality even when strong sources of light-including the sun-are in frame.

High-speed Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) control system delivers fast and highly responsive autofocus performance plus outstanding vibration compensation

  • Silent autofocus driven by OSD (Optimized Silent Drive) DC motor - The OSD DC motor debuted in the 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) with favorable response. OSD technology reduces drive noise significantly (compared to previous DC motor-equipped lenses) while boosting autofocusing precision and speed by a wide margin. This eliminates noisy distractions during portrait shooting. Furthermore, the superior AF precision also provides more accurate tracking when locked on moving subjects.
  • Outstanding VC (Vibration Compensation) - Tamron's original VC system is enhanced in the A043 with an independent MPU dedicated to image stabilization without detracting from AF processing functions. Consequently, the VC (Vibration Compensation) achieves 5 stops*, according to CIPA Standards. This is highly beneficial when shooting at the telephoto end where camera movement is magnified. It's also very valuable when shooting at slow shutter speeds in dim lighting conditions.

* CIPA Standard Compliant. For Canon: EOS-5D MKIII is used. For Nikon: D810 is used.

MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of 17.7 inches across the entire zoom range
Close focusing, the A043 delivers an MOD of 17.7" at all focal lengths thereby expanding versatility and creative freedom. This allows portrait photographers to get in close to capture expressions and smaller details and allows them to adjust camera-to-subject distance with greater control. Even when shooting indoors where movement is restricted, users can make use of this feature to find the perfect shooting position and angle.

Next-generation design is consistent with brand identity and is ergonomically superb
Tamron has applied magnificent craftsmanship to a beautiful, intuitive design to produce a zoom with superior look and feel. From the outer contours of the lens, to the deftly worked Luminous Gold brand ring, the quality of this lens is second to none. Even details like the shape of the switch box and the precision and stability of the metallic mount reveal a commitment to functionality as well as design.

Moisture-Resistant Construction
Seals are located at the lens mount area and other critical locations to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain to provide Moisture-Resistant Construction. This feature affords an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.

Fluorine Coating
The surface of the front element is coated with a protective fluorine compound that has excellent water- and oil-repellant qualities. The front surface is easier to wipe clean and is less vulnerable to the damaging effects of dirt, dust, moisture or oily fingerprints, allowing for much easier maintenance.

Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in ConsoleTM, an optional accessory
The new Model A043 is compatible with the TAMRON TAP-in Console, an optional accessory product that provides a USB connection to a personal computer for easy updating of the lens's firmware as well as customization of features including fine adjustments to the focus position of AF and VC control.

Covers a broad range of diverse scenarios when combined as a set with the 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) ultra-wide angle zoom
For the discerning travel photographer who wants to pack light while maintaining excellent image quality, the new 35-150mm zoom pairs perfectly with Tamron's 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) wide-angle zoom. The two lenses together cover 17mm to 150mm affording creative and versatile capture of landscape, street scenes, architectural details, food, street portraits and more, at a total weight of just 44.1 oz* with fast F/2.8 at the wide ends and F/4 at the tele end of each.

* Weight applies to the model with the Nikon mount.

B&H has the Tamron 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD Lens available for preorder.

Tamron has released updated software for use with its TAP-in Console, TAP-in Utility v.1.4.0 (download here).

So what's new with this version of TAP-in Utility? Unfortunately, Tamron doesn't think we need to know such trivial information, as no indication has been made on the reference page. However, an interesting thing to note is that the Mac version of the software ballooned from 10 MB for v.1.3.0 to 36 MB for the new version (the Windows application size stayed the same at 1.5 MB).

Tamron's recently released SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 press release is, quite frankly, painful to read. It looks like Tamron outsourced its marketing for the lens to the LensRentals' Random Photo Marketing Generator.

Just for fun, I hit the tool's "Generate" button a few times to come up with my own Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 G2 press release:

This is a new breakthrough that will revolutionize your craft and create new opportunities in your imaging world. Like all of our products, this lens is in a class of its own. We have combined intuitive control with unsurpassed technology to provide you a singular experience. Catch an instant and make it your revenue photoGenerator forever.

Using advanced technology including multiple floating elements and the industry’s most accurate autofocus system, this lens can take your imaging to new achievements. Discover detail that you never saw was around you. Whatever the subject matter, in any working condition, in all lighting conditions, this lens offers amazing definition while maintaining excellent vignetting control. Designed for the connoisseur, it offers the finest craftsmanship most only wish for, at a price that most can’t afford. Capture images in a way you’ve always wished you could.

Well, that was easy.

The funny thing is, Tamron doesn't mention in their own press release that the G2 model features the exact same optical formula as its predecessor. Want proof? Check out the optical formula diagrams taken from Tamron USA's product pages.

Tamron SP 15 30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD vs SP 15 30mm F 2.8 Di VC USD G2 Optics

So what's actually new in the G2 model? Here's a quick rundown of the updated features, sans marketing mumbo jumbo:

  • New coatings on the same ol' lenses
  • Improved Vibration Compensation - G2 model provides up to 4.5 stops of compensation; previous model's VC assistance was never specified
  • Improved autofocus performance through, primarily, a new AF algorithm
  • Possibly better weather sealing - the original model had some sealing that included a rear mount gasket, but the internal seals diagram was never provided
  • Rear filter holder
  • Updated exterior to match other G2 lenses
  • Compatibility with the TAP-in console

As usual, the improvements listed above come at a cost; the G2 version's MSRP is $100.00 more than the original one's and the price difference is even larger considering the current $100.00 instant savings on the G1 model. Check out our Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens Review for more information on the G2's predecessor.

From Tamron:

August 31, 2018, Commack, New York - Tamron announces the launch of a new high-speed ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, the SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A041), for full-frame DSLR cameras. The new model will be available in Nikon mount on September 21st and in Canon mount October 12th at a suggested retail price of $1299.

With a well-established reputation for ultra-high-quality wideangle zoom lenses with its Model A012, Tamron carries on the tradition of high optical performance with the new SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A041). By incorporating an XGM (eXpanded Glass Molded Aspherical) lens element, as well as multiple LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, the distortion and lateral chromatic aberrations so common in wideangle shooting have been greatly minimized. Furthermore, a newly developed AX (Anti-reflection eXpand) Coating has been applied to reduce ghosting and flare more thoroughly than ever before. The optical performance in this high-speed F/2.8 ultra-wideangle zoom lens is outstanding. In addition, the built-in Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) enables vastly improved AF speed and precision and image stabilization. This is a next-generation super high-quality, high-speed ultra-wideangle zoom lens with first-rate optics and a wide range of features that serve to revitalize the user's shooting experience. With the release of this model, three of Tamron's high-speed F/2.8 zoom lens with VC (Vibration Compensation) are now G2 (Generation 2).

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Super high-quality high-speed ultra-wideangle zoom lens
The Model A041 is an F/2.8 ultra-wideangle lens with a focal length starting at 15mm that offers high resolution even in the peripheral area of the image. By incorporating an XGM (eXpanded Glass Molded Aspherical) lens element and multiple LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements to curtail distortion and lateral chromatic aberrations, Tamron has achieved a degree of resolution throughout the range that is just as good as a fixed focal length lens.

Newly developed AX Coating
The AX (Anti-reflection eXpand) Coating, especially effective for wideangle lenses that tend to let in harmful light from peripheral areas, was developed to control rays that affect image quality. It is a revolutionary new proprietary coating developed in-house by Tamron using specialized deposition technology. The new coating keeps the reflection factor for peripheral areas at the same high level as that for the center area, not only overcoming standard curvature issues, but even overcoming the problems of conventionally produced convex surface with large curvatures for which uniform deposition has always proved difficult to achieve. Furthermore, the Model A041, along with eBand (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating utilizing nanotechnology, and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating, makes effective use of three different types of coatings, thereby enabling unsurpassed curtailment of ghosting and flare and consequently enabling superlative, exceptionally clear image quality edge to edge.

High-speed, high-precision AF
Superb AF speed and precision is delivered by equipping the lens with a Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) system and employing an enhanced AF control algorithm to improve performance. The AF drive uses proprietary Tamron technology, USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive), enabling high torque, high response, and silent operation. And because it comes with a Full-time Manual Focus override system, manual focus adjustments can be made on the fly.

VC promises sharp images for all varieties of shooting
Tamron released the first high-speed F/2.8 ultra-wideangle zoom lens in the world equipped with a VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism, the original Model A012. The new Model A041 has been further improved with a newly developed VC mechanism that surpasses former versions and reaches 4.5 stops, according to CIPA standards. This makes it possible to shoot sharp photos over a wide range of photographic scenes, including indoor and outdoor shots as well as handheld shots at stopped-down aperture settings for landscape photography.

Rear filter holder
The Model A041 made for use on Canon (EF-mount) cameras comes with a filter holder as a standard feature that lets you insert gelatin and other sheet filters into the rear side of the lens. This makes photography using filters much easier and simpler by overcoming the problem of the curvature of the front lens elements that made shooting with filters so difficult in the past.

Vastly improved highly durable Fluorine Coating
Abrasion resistance capability has been vastly improved on the new Model A041.

The new design provides greater operability and design consistency
With the new SP design applied, Model A041 shares the same feel of high quality and operability as the other two models in this series, SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A032) and SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A025). Tamron has merged beautiful craftsmanship with intuitive design in this new high-speed ultra-wideangle zoom lens. Even details like the shape of the switch box, distance-scale window, and the precision and stability of the metallic mount reveal a commitment to functionality, as well as design. The result is a next-generation lens that's easy to use yet loaded with cutting-edge technology.

Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in ConsoleTM, an optional accessory
The new Model A041 is compatible with the TAMRON TAP-in Console, an optional accessory product that provides a USB connection to a personal computer for easy updating of the lens's firmware as well as customization of features including fine adjustments to the focus position of AF and VC control.

Moisture-Resistant Construction
Seals are located at the lens mount area and other critical locations to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain to provide Moisture-Resistant Construction. This feature affords an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.

Manufacturing innovation with thorough attention to details based on the rigorous quality standards worthy of the SP series
Tamron has enhanced the SP series lenses to fulfill high-level photographic requirements and provide the pleasure of ownership. While introducing a new exterior design, Tamron reviewed the SP series standards. The new SP series has been developed by setting rigorous standards for design, manufacturing and quality that apply to the optical design and mechanical design as well as such wide-ranging areas as the product's robustness and improvements in a variety of individual functions. This has helped to achieve a more consistently superb optical performance, making it a lens that fulfills the demand for higher image quality that is compatible with the latest high-pixel cameras. To maximize the optical performance of the SP series, Tamron will continue to enhance the accuracy of the component parts of each lens element unit and improve the mechanical precision of the entire lens, thereby achieving a high overall performance.

From Tamrom:

August 6, 2018, Commack, New York – Tamron announces the launch of a new ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, the 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037), for 35mm full-frame DSLR cameras. The vision behind the Model A037 is that of an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that has a separate concept from SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A012), with superb image quality and easy portability. At just 3.5 in in length and 16.2 oz. in weight, it is the smallest and lightest in its class. The focal length ranges from an ultra-wide 17mm that is suitable for professional landscape photography to a standard 35mm perfect for snapshot photography. As for F-stops, the wide-angle end is a large aperture F/2.8, and at the telephoto end is a fast F/4. The Moisture-Resistant Construction and Fluorine Coating help to enhance the user's photographic experience. For those looking to try out an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for the first time, as well as having a lens that is easily portable, the A037 is the definitive choice. The lens will be available in Nikon mount on September 4, 2018 at suggested retail price of $599. The launch of the Canon mount model will be announced at a later date.

Product Highlights

  • High-performance imaging for shooting vast landscapes in sharp detail
The optical construction (15 elements in 10 groups) uses four LD (Low Dispersion) lens elementsto minimize axial chromatic aberrations that can occur with ultra-wide-angle zoom lenses. With two properly positioned GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lenses, distortion and other aberration can be satisfactorily corrected as well. Being the smallest and lightest in its class and dedicated to high quality imaging, the engineers have paid particular attention to size. The lens has also been carefully designed to allow peripheral point image reproducibility and thereby facilitate a high degree of sharpness and contrast. The Minimum Object Distance (MOD) for the entire zoom range is a short 11 in., so background blurring is still possible when opening the aperture and approaching the subject close-up with this ultra-wide-angle zoom.
  • Advanced coating technology along with proprietary ghosting analysis simulation technology enabled the high level of backlighting control
Resistance to backlighting is extremely important for wide-angle lenses as they are often subjected to strong light sources. The Model A037 has a high level optical construction that repeatedly employs comprehensive ghosting analysis simulation. The BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating is highly effective in reducing reflection, allowing ghosting and flare throughout the entire zoom range to be controlled.
  • OSD (Optimized Silent Drive) enables both excellent AF speed and drive noise reduction
The AF drive system employs an OSD (Optimized Silent Drive) to ensure quiet operation. Through the innovative optimization of the system that includes AF system speed reduction gear, Tamron could greatly reduce the drive noise in comparison to conventional AF types with built-in DC motors. AF performance and speed have also been vastly improved. Thus, even if silence is required, AF can be employed without having to worry at all about noise creation. The Model A037 can provide superlative AF precision for exact focus even when shooting moving objects, as well as outstanding trackability.
  • Circular aperture to produce a smooth-edged bokeh
A 7-blade diaphragm is configured to retain a smooth, circular-shaped aperture opening even when stopped down by two stops from the wide-open aperture. This produces a smooth-edged bokeh in background light spots and avoids rugged aperture geometry.
  • Moisture-Resistant Construction
Seals are located at the lens mount area and other critical locations to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain drops to provide Moisture-Resistant Construction. This feature affords an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
  • Fluorine Coating
The surface of the front element is coated with a protective fluorine compound that has excellent water- and oil-repellant qualities. The front surface is easier to wipe clean and is less vulnerable to the damaging effects of dirt, dust, moisture or oily fingerprints, allowing for much easier maintenance. The coating also provides an enhanced level of durability, and will sustain its effectiveness for years.
  • Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in ConsoleTM, an optional accessory
The new A037 is compatible with the optional TAMRON TAP-in Console, an optional accessory product that provides a USB connection to a personal computer, enabling users to easily update a lens's firmware as well as customize features including fine adjustments to the AF.
