From Manfrotto:
Acknowledging the market trend towards smartphones as serious image capture devices, and the huge number of videos and stills taken on the iPhone, Manfrotto, the market leader in photo and video accessories, have taken their first step into making products for those that want images from their iPhone. KLYP offers a stylish, functional method of attaching supports and additional lights to your phone, allowing you to make images, FaceTime and video capture better and easier.
Five KLYP kits
KLYP comes in five distinctive kits: as a case alone with two adaptor clips to enable use of your own supports and lights, one with the Manfrotto ML240 LED light for videography, Facetime and photography in low light situations and another one with the ML240 and the Manfrotto Pocket tripod for supporting the case when out and about. The more compact ML120 LED light is also available as an option in place of the ML240 in both options.
The KLYP case is made of a rigid polycarbonate with a quality feel soft touch coating giving it a silky smooth appearance. The KLYP features a felt inlay to enable smooth fitting of the two parts to the phone without possibility of damage and it clips together positively.
Stylish looks with the added design input of people who understand supports and lighting, KLYP is optimised to allow the attachment of a tripod and Manfrotto LED light without detracting from its appearance.
What makes KLYP unique?
By using two cleverly designed removable accessory “clips”, Manfrotto have developed the KLYP case with a patented rail system, which enables the case to remain sleek and have no protrusions to detract from its appearance. The accessory “clips” can be attached to any of four different points around the case to allow landscape and portrait images to be taken with ease, and in darker conditions, to add a Manfrotto LED light in the optimum position to fill in shadows when shooting stills or video in low light. When using the iPhone’s FaceTime feature, the continuous light can be turned 180 degrees to light the user in a soft pleasing way.

Manfrotto announces the 290 Carbon Fibre Series
Manfrotto have just announced the launch of 290 Carbon - a new family of carbon fibre camera supports designed to accompany passionate new photographers as they progress and improve their skills.
At that level, no longer a beginner, but not (yet) earning a living from photography, it has always been difficult to find accessories and equipment that offer the right balance of performance, practicality and versatility: cheap "first tripods" are too flimsy and can't be upgraded, but professional tripods have too many features, too many options and are too much of an investment. The 290 Carbon range steps right in to fill the gap in the middle and support the aspiring photographer along the path from hobby to passion... or from obsession to profession.
Journeys to far-flung locations and spectacular holidays are often the triggers to taking photography more seriously, but it's notoriously difficult to find a tripod that's compact and light enough to travel, but stable enough to really help when you get to your destination.
Step into your passion for photography!
KEY BENEFITS
From Manfrotto:
Hybrid HDSLR cameras and ever-smaller pro camcorders are changing videography dramatically; yet along with the obvious advantages and opportunities presented by smaller, lighter cameras, come new problems to solve: as ENG camera operators use smaller cameras, and photographers are expected to shoot broadcast-quality video footage on their HDSLRs, both groups are finding that their camera equipment doesn’t have the ergonomic form for steady shoulder-mounted or hand-held footage; nor the attachment points for monitors, batteries, light-modifiers or accessories; nor the inherent weight that helps minimise camera shake. SYMPLA is Manfrotto’s solution to those problems: a professional modular video rig system that extends and complements new cameras, allows for stable support and framing, supports essential accessories features, offering versatility and high performance as well as comfort, safety and much simpler and faster set up than existing rigs.
SYMPLA is built for flexibility and speed, so you can change anything and everything easily and quickly: hand grip positions, counterbalance, camera body, lens, accessories, filters, light-shielding angle; shoulder-supported, hand-held, or tripod/monopod-mounted… whatever you need to get the shot, the second you need it. SYMPLA is quick to fine-tune, so even when you need to make changes to your rig on-location and mid-shoot, SYMPLA’s minimal locks and tool-free adjusters will let you get back to shooting quickly. Thanks to our revolutionary camera remotes which fit the rig handgrips, SYMPLA allows precise fingertip control of framing and camera functions without losing the grip position and keeping your eyes on the frame, helping you capture stable, usable, creative footage. And SYMPLA can quickly be extended: whether you start from one of our kits, or from single components, you can build the exact rig you need for the shot, as soon as you need it.

Manfrotto has announced a new L-Bracket.
Looks like a very useful product if you are using the Manfrotto quick release system. I'm still hoping they migrate to or add the Arca-Swiss standard.
In a press release dated 5/28/2011 but actually available only since last night, Manfrotto announces four new 055 Center Ball Heads.
Manfrotto continues to use their own quick release system in these heads. I would love to see them to switch over to the far more compatible Arca-Swiss standard.
Manfrotto has added six new products to their already-extensive lineup:
Manfrotto 509HD
Manfrotto LED Lights
Manfrotto Photo-Movie Head
Manfrotto Video Remote Control
Manfrotto DADO
Manfrotto Snake Arm
Manfrotto has announced the Lino Apparel and Bag Collection. After shooting in 18° temperatures this morning, those gloves look especially nice.
The Manfrotto Stile Bag Collection has also been formally announced.
Manfrotto has announced new tripods and tripod heads as follows (links are to Manfrotto News release pages):

Manfrotto 390 Tripod Series
"The 290 is the newborn series in the Manfrotto range. Developed from the experience of the 190, the 290 is the ideal tool to develop your skill and passion for photography and video. Some key features like the professional aluminium and adjustable leg locks for unsurpassed stability, and anti-rotation columns akin to pro tripods for great accuracy, are unique for this support category. Thanks to highly durable materials, sturdy construction, advanced settings and removable head for future upgrades, the 290 is excellent value and an investment to serve you for years to come. It comes in various popular sizes and kits, and especially in the short four section version - it is also the ideal tool for travelling."
Check out the press release for more information.
"The brand new Manfrotto Compact series is the most compact and intuitive range of supports on the market. It is an excellent value solution to effectively hold and support your new photo and video equipment and bring the best out of it. The Compact makes your shooting experience as enjoyable and trouble-free as never before - both in use, thanks to simple and clear controls, and travelling, thanks to the incredible compact design and unique features. The 360 tripods come in two versions: a new special dual purpose head for photomovie applications, and an ultra compact photo version with unique reversible column for increased compactness. The Compact is also available as a monopod - the most compact and versatile support for both photo and movie applications."
The Manfrotto Stile line of cases are on the Manfrotto website.
