As I began reviewing the third party lenses, I concluded that it was going to be too time consuming and difficult to review and compare
all similar lenses at one time as I have been doing -
and that my memory was not an acceptable alternative for differentiating the nuances between these lenses.
So, I have begun creating and implementing standard, repeatable tests that I will be presenting in a format that invites custom comparisons by site visitors.
I believe I will provide a nicer end result, but it is going to take me longer than planned to bring everything online.
I currently have all of Canon's current AF lenses and all listed (and a couple of yet-unlisted) Sigma and Tamron lenses
with the Sigma 150 and Tamron 90 being the only two exceptions at this writing.
The Sigma lenses are next on my review list, but standardized results from the Canon lenses must be obtained at the same time for comparison purposes.
I will do my best to reward your patience.
