Sunset is easily my favorite time of the day. Even if I don't have a camera in my hands. I never tire of color in the sky.
 
Capturing a beautiful image of a brilliantly colored sky is easy. And in this case, I added a simple skyline silhouette for the base of the image. Add a little saturation and perhaps some contrast in post processing to gain some extra brilliance in your image.

The background was busy and my time was short (she was on the move). I quickly selected a perspective that avoided most background lines interesting the left side of my subject. This is a nice 35mm portrait focus distance – near-minimum for a pleasing portrait perspective.
