Did Vermeer Use a Camera Obscura to Create His Masterpieces?

Site visitor Stewart sent me a fascinating article yesterday regarding evidence that Johannes Vermeer (1600's Dutch painter) used a camera obscura to create his "photo realistic" paintings.
