Canon USA Spring 2011 Lens Rebates

Canon USA has announced their Spring 2011 Lens Rebates.
 
While Canon USA typically offers a significant DSLR, lens and flash rebate program each spring, this one is not likely to impress you - only three low end lenses are included. Canon USA has not commented on the reason for the small rebate program, but I'm certain that the lack of inventory resulting from the disaster in Japan is the reason. I personally was not expecting any lens rebates to be offered this spring.
 
One thing we do know is that these three lenses have significant availability - the instant rebate amounts are significant relative to the price of the lens. These rebates are in effect from May 15 through June 18, 2011.
