B&H now has the Western Digital My Passport 2TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drives in stock ($199.99 shipped).
I have upgraded to these new drives. They are just slightly thicker than the 1TB drives I had been using, but with 2x the capacity, I can easily overlook this minor downside. What an amazing amount of capacity in a drive that easily fits in a pocket.
