HDD Shortage Expected to Continue Through 1H 2012

Have you noticed the lack of hard drive deals throughout the Christmas shopping season and beyond? And any "deals" were priced well above prices we were seeing many months before.
 
The reason? Manufacturing disruption caused by the flooding in Thailand has seriously affected hard drive supplies. A new Computer World article provides more information on the impact.
