Canon Professional Network is producing a four-part series explaining the key features of Adobe Lightroom 5. The first installment focuses on Lightroom's various modules and the process of importing pictures. It's a good introduction for those that have never used Lightroom before.

From Profoto:

We do not need tell you why collapsible reflectors are great. Every photographer knows that (affordable, lightweight, easy to use, etc.). But what you most probably did not know is that Profoto now makes them.

Profoto’s Collapsible Reflectors stand out from the crowd. First of all, the sturdy yet collapsible squircle-shaped metal frame is equipped with two ergonomically shaped handles, which makes the reflectors much easier to fold and hold in various positions.

Secondly, Profoto's Collapsible Reflectors are designed with high-quality fabrics and the frame itself is far tougher and durable than the average reflector.

Last but not least, Profoto's Collapsible Reflectors are available in no less than ten different versions. Four types of two-sided Reflectors are available: Silver/White, Sunsilver/White, Gold/White & Matte Black/White. There is also a translucent screen available to be used as a diffuser. Each of these is available in two sizes: Medium (80 cm /32’’) and Large (120 cm /47”).

In short, it is now easier than ever before to obtain your first piece of Profoto gear, and those who are already familiar with the brand can expand their set of Profoto tools with a powerful and cordless continuous light source – also known as the sun.

The Profoto Collapsible Reflectors are officially released on October 1.

As I continue to revamp the site's filter reviews, the circular polarizer review is next up.

This is the filter I cannot be without.
