Canon has released Digital Photo Professional 3.8.2 Updater for Mac OS X (only). Select Mac OS X on the landing page.

Changes for Digital Photo Professional 3.8.2 Updater for Mac OS X:

Fixes a malfunction wherein the trimming ratio is entered abnormally when it is set to Custom using the trimming/angle adjustment tool, and also when the trimming area is copied to other images.

The Vignetting Comparison Tool has been updated. The biggest change is that the test results have been regenerated and output at a larger contour results image size. All images are larger, but APS-C images are now shown full-size as well. Full frame lens results will delineate the APS-C field of view via a superimposed frame.

The ISO 12233 Chart Resolution Comparison Tool has also been tweaked - primarily to move the sample images higher on the page (for less scrolling).

Arca-Swiss has joined Kirk, RRS and the others with the announcement of their Arca-Swiss L Bracket.

I would not call the press release "detailed", but the Arca-Swiss L Bracket appears to be a unique, universal L-bracket design utilizing the Arca-Swiss standard.
