The new firmware adds support for higher capacity memory cards ...

a) SDHC cards with capacities exceeding 2GB (e.g., 4GB, 8GB) are now supported.
b) The phenomenon wherein the camera cannot correctly detect the capacity of CF cards with capacities exceeding 8GB (e.g., 12GB, 16GB) correctly when they are initialized has been corrected.

Adobe Releases Beta Version of Photoshop CS3

The link is to the press release and includes the proper link to download the beta. This is a huge download - The Mac version 684MB, the Windows version is 338MB.

While OOS at B&H as of this morning, the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM Lens is now in stock at several other reputable retailers including Amazon.com, 17th Street and J&R.

About half of the sample images for this lens are new to the site including many soccer examples. The 600 L makes a great big-field lens for a full frame body. AF performs excellently with the fast action.

Adobe has released Camera Raw 3.6 for Photoshop CS2. I continue to prefer Canon's DPP software, but I know many of you are using the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in for Photoshop.
